The Big Envelope
Everybody should have received a large envelope from Legow
via certified mail, return receipt, postmarked Jan 27, 2016.
It contains the same information as before.
It's the same request for a rent increase to pay for the new "fancoils"
(the radiators for the heat and central air conditioning).
The CTTA is challenging the application.
We plan to prove beyond all doubt that it is all replacement and maintenance
and therefore does not qualify for a rent increase.
The Elizabeth Fair Rental Housing Board
("Rent Control Board") hearing continues on
Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 7:30
where the tenants’ defense will be presented,
the board will discuss the case and make a ruling.
