Travel / Driving

The NJ E-Z Pass toll pass electronic toll-collection system is accepted by all NY/NJ crossings & toll roads
offering discounts and Discount Plans for Senior Citizens and high efficiency vehicles.

The Pulasky Skyway (route 1) eastbound (towards NYC) is CLOSED for repairs.
It is expected to reopen in 2017.

Transportation

It is easy to commute from Elizabeth thanks to all the public transportation.
New Jersey Transit operates all bus, train and light rail (trolley, subway) service in NJ.


train

The New Jersey Transit Elizabeth train station is in walking distance,
with train service from the Northeast Corrider Line and North Jersey Coast Line.
Trains to New York are on the side with the ticket office. Change at the Airport Station for the AirTrain monorail to EWR: Newark Liberty International Airport

Change at Newark for Change at Secaucus Junction for NJ Transit rail Gladstone Branch, Morristown Line, Montclair-Boonton Line

Change at New York for Change at Trenton for
PATCO is similar to PATH: the Delaware River Port Authority’s little train system
crossing the Delaware River, connecting NJ to PA.
Free parking at the NJ stations.

Broad Street Elizabeth is a major bus hub.
